Grams to cups is different for every ingredient: 100 g of flour fills more of a cup than 100 g of sugar, because flour is lighter for its size.

How to convert grams to cups
Divide the weight in grams by the weight of one cup of that ingredient:
cups = grams ÷ grams per cup
For example, all-purpose flour weighs 120 g per cup, so 300 g ÷ 120 = 2.5 cups. Granulated sugar weighs 198 g per cup, so 300 g of sugar is only about 1 1/2 cups.
When the answer isn’t a neat fraction, round to the nearest 1/4 or 1/3 cup and make up the rest with tablespoons (1 cup = 16 tablespoons). The “how to measure it” column in our tables does this for you.
